11 DNS To Google In Windows11 | How to Set Up 8.8.8.8 DNS Server for Windows11 [Tutorial]

From Google Developers:
Configure your network settings to use Google Public DNS
When you use Google Public DNS, you are changing your DNS "switchboard" operator from your ISP to Google Public DNS.

In most cases, the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) automatically configures your system to use the IP addresses of your ISP's domain name servers. To use Google Public DNS, you need to explicitly 11 the DNS settings in your operating system or device to use the Google Public DNS IP addresses. The procedure for changing your DNS settings varies according to operating system and version (Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chrome OS) or the device (computer, phone, or router). We give general procedures here that might not apply for your OS or device; consult your vendor documentation for authoritative information.

Depending on your system you may also have the option of enabling a new privacy-oriented feature called DNS-over-TLS. This feature provides privacy and security for the DNS messages sent between your device and Google's DNS servers. Details on configuring this optional feature are in specific sections for each system.

When you subscribe for internet access for home or business, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) also provides the necessary network settings, including the Domain Name System (DNS) addresses, which makes possible to access your favorite sites, online services that you may need to work from home, and download files.

The only caveat is that the ISP's DNS servers are usually slower, unreliable at times, and not very private. However, you can always use different resolvers from third-party companies to improve your internet experience on Windows 11. Here's how.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows11 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Samsung.
